With the City of Wapakoneta ending its natural gas aggregation program, the City is now offering an evening of assistance for those wishing to get some help in signing up for a new program. Members of the city government will be available at the Auglaize County Public LIbrary on November 14 from 6:00 - 7:00 pm to provide assistance. Residents can gain information, sign up online, or print offers to consider. The event will be making use of the Public Utilities “Apples to Apples” website. Residents should bring their most recent natural gas bill as they MUST have their current account numbers and information to be able to see rates available to them.

Residents who were on the city plan will automatically be enrolled in a variable rate program if they do nothing else. Residents may sign up for other programs on their own. They may also contact city hall and get assistance from Safety Service Director Chad Scott.
