All city offices will be closed on Monday, May 26th, in observance of Memorial Day.
The Utilities Office will be closed on Tuesday, May 27th, due to remodeling. All other city offices will remain open on this date.

It was a privilege for Evan Schoffner and Mike Sparks from the Wapakoneta Electric Department to participate in Safety Day with the city's 5th and 6th-grade students today!
The students engaged actively, inquiring about the duties of our linemen and exploring the safety equipment utilized in their work.

It was a pleasure to host numerous representatives from the City of Wapakoneta at today's Wapakoneta High School job fair. We are delighted that our municipality offers diverse local career pathways, particularly within our Fire and Police Departments.
Mayor Lee and HR Manager Erin Buchanan were also in attendance, providing valuable insights into the various departments and the distinct roles within each. Their presence allowed students to gain a comprehensive understanding of the opportunities available right here in Wapakoneta!
