SEVERE WEATHER AWARENESS WEEK Stay Informed Monitor local weather forecasts from reliable sources. Invest in a NOAA Weather Radio for real-time alerts. Sign up for local emergency alerts on your phone. Develop a Plan Create a family emergency plan that includes where to seek shelter and how to communicate. Practice drills, especially for tornado safety. Prepare an emergency kit with essentials like water, food, first-aid supplies, and a flashlight. Know the Terminology Understand the difference between a "watch" (conditions are favorable) and a "warning" (a hazard is imminent).
Please take note of the Tax Department's recent relocation to the end of the hallway in City Hall. Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
