⚡️ Performs routine maintenance of building, grounds, and equipment as well as assisting line workers on repair of electrical lines and substations (𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘭 𝘫𝘰𝘣 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘣𝘦 𝘱𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘥 𝘶𝘱 𝘢𝘵 𝘊𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘏𝘢𝘭𝘭).

Last night, city employees from various departments traded their usual tasks for some fun at the annual bed races! From fierce competition to fantastic team bonding, it was clear our employees share a deep love for our community.

We're incredibly thankful for their enthusiastic participation and dedication!

Please be advised of potential traffic disruptions tomorrow, Saturday, July 19, 2025, between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM, due to our 1-mile, 5K, and 10K community runs.

Motorists should anticipate temporary closures, detours, and/or delays along the race routes (pictured). For everyone's safety, please adhere to all posted barriers, signage, and traffic instructions provided by event personnel and law enforcement.

Your cooperation is greatly appreciated as we work to ensure a safe and successful event for all participants.

We are excited to announce the successful completion of the Wapakoneta Fire Department's new building addition! This expansion represents a significant enhancement to our facilities, equipping us to better serve the Wapakoneta community.

While we're finalizing details for an official ribbon-cutting ceremony in the near future, we couldn't wait to share our excitement with you. Therefore, we're hosting a special open house this Friday, July 18th, and Saturday, July 19th, from 12 PM to 8 PM.

🚮 Performs residential and commercial trash removal, e.g., rides on refuse truck, picks up, empties and replaces residential trash cans, hooks up, empties and replaces commercial trash containers, and unloads collected refuse at land fill, operates mechanical trash compactor on back of refuse truck (𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘭 𝘫𝘰𝘣 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘣𝘦 𝘱𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘥 𝘶𝘱 𝘢𝘵 𝘊𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘏𝘢𝘭𝘭).
