Please be advised of potential traffic disruptions tomorrow, Saturday, July 19, 2025, between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM, due to our 1-mile, 5K, and 10K community runs.

Motorists should anticipate temporary closures, detours, and/or delays along the race routes (pictured). For everyone's safety, please adhere to all posted barriers, signage, and traffic instructions provided by event personnel and law enforcement.

We are excited to announce the successful completion of the Wapakoneta Fire Department's new building addition! This expansion represents a significant enhancement to our facilities, equipping us to better serve the Wapakoneta community.

While we're finalizing details for an official ribbon-cutting ceremony in the near future, we couldn't wait to share our excitement with you. Therefore, we're hosting a special open house this Friday, July 18th, and Saturday, July 19th, from 12 PM to 8 PM.

Tomorrow, June 27th, is the last day that Public Works will pick up storm debris. This Saturday, June 28th, is the last day that the brush farm will accept storm debris for FREE. If there are extenuating circumstances that requires the disposal of storm debris beyond this, please contact Public Works to make arrangements.
