Effective today, parking is prohibited in the designated area on South Blackhoof, extending around the corner onto Jefferson Street. Please be aware that this area is clearly marked with appropriate signage and painted boundaries.

Clear intersections and unobstructed sightlines are essential for safe travel. Parking too close to intersections or traffic control devices can block visibility, create hazards, and slow traffic flow.

Wapakoneta Codified Ordinances
• 452.03(a)(6): No standing or parking within 20 feet of a crosswalk at an intersection.
• 452.03(a)(7): No standing or parking within 30 feet of, and upon the approach to, any flashing beacon, stop sign, or traffic control device.
• 406.03(p): The Director of Public Service and Safety may further regulate or prohibit stopping, standing, and parking by posting signs that indicate restrictions or limitations.

These safety measures are designed to protect drivers, pedestrians, and the flow of traffic. Thank you for respecting them and helping keep Wapakoneta’s streets safe.
